Try it Tuesday - Boho Backyard

Staycations are the new vacay, and we are here to help you spruce up your backyard with these Boho Swings! Don't worry, all of the links you will need are below too. Be sure to scroll down and see how amazing this project looks at night!

You will need:

1 - 4x6 114” top beam

4 - 4x4 96” legs

2 - 2x6 36” support brackets

Table Saw

Drill

This is a project that you can easily create in a day, but you will definitely want two adults to work on the project as the wood is heavy.

You will start by attaching the top beam to your brackets. Lay the brackets and beam on a flat surface and insert the beam into the bracket. Ours was a bit tight, so we used some WD40 and a rubber mallet to hammer into place.

After the top beam is attached, you will flip it over and insert the legs for your swing set. These are heavy and you will want two adults to help with this part. Again, if they are tight going in, you can use some WD40 and a rubber mallet to hammer into place.

You will now attach the lag bolts to the swing set to hold your frame together.

While the support brace is optional, we suggest it for added safety. As a bonus, it will also help to use as a support to pick up the swing set when you move it into place.

Good news: the instructions with the brackets will help you with the building piece to this as well.

Now the fun comes!

Hang your swings, grab some solar lights, find a boho tapestry you love, toss on some throw pillows and enjoy! Don't forget the cold beverage as you relax in your own backyard boho paradise!
